Context
The development team needed clearer, faster-to-implement prototypes. The back-and-forth between design and development was slow and the result wasn't always faithful to the original design.
The Problem
Developers spent time interpreting Figma mockups. Specs weren't enough to capture complex interactions. Build fidelity suffered and there was constant back-and-forth.
Process
I created a library of 23 functional prototypes written 100% in code: Laravel 12 + Livewire 4 + Tailwind CSS 4 + Alpine.js. Each prototype is a self-contained Livewire component with Blade views.
Solution
Developers pull the repo from Git and run prototypes locally. Covers checkout, gifts, subscriptions, taxonomy setup, product pages, reader, partial refunds, content import, and more.
Impact
Faster implementation, fewer clarification meetings, and significantly better build fidelity.
